1: Domain Name Flipping

Based on luck, strategy and business savvy, domain name flipping can be one of the more lucrative ways to earn a living online. The term comes from the real estate trick that involves buying old, undervalued houses, fixing them up to make them more attractive and modern-looking and selling them for a much higher price.

in this case, the old and outdated place is not a house, but rather a domain name — the main address for a Web page. With a little bit of searching, dedicated domain flippers locate unused, poorly maintained Web sites that have generic and recognizable identifiers and buy them. They usually pay a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars, but after extensive updates that make the site more business- and user-friendly, the domain name can fetch several times more than it was originally worth. The domain bird-cage.com, for instance, was bought for a mere $1,800 in 2005 — after a redesign two years later, the site was sold for $173,000 to a bird cage vendor [source: Bhattarai].

For more information on doing business online and other related topics, invest some time in the links on the next page.

2: Freelancing

Freelancing is similar in some ways to blogging. For one thing, you get to work from your own home or office most of the time. But there are a few important distinctions. First, if you’re thinking about freelance writing, chances are you need to have more experience than the average blogger. Many freelance writing positions cover specialized topics for online publications and may require expert knowledge on a subject. However, if you’re passionate about things like travel or food and know how to write, a freelancing job can provide you with good income.

Writing’s not the only way to make money freelancing, of course — anyone with graphic design or programming experience can find contract jobs that pay well and provide challenging work, too.

3. Designing and Selling T-shirts

If you come up with your own t-shirt designs, some sites will press the shirts for you and share profits when they’re sold.

As you walk around most high school and college campuses, you’re likely to come into contact with lots of words. But it won’t be material from textbooks or term papers — those are probably in backpacks or sitting unfinished at home. Instead, they’re the simple phrases or logos — most of which are ironic or amusing — printed on the T-shirts on the backs of the students.

Usually, the more unique and offbeat the design is, the more desirable the T-shirt is. The growth of the Internet has made it possible for vendors to sell T-shirts all over the world. In fact, sites like CafePress.com and SpreadShirt.com allow you to set up your own store, create your own designs and sell them yourself. If you create your own shirt design with a clever catchphrase or come up with your own unique statement and people like it, you can start making money.

4: Blogging

If you have a particular passion for something, whether it’s a hobby or an obsession, and you have something to say about it, blogging could be a profitable way to pour out your endless stream of thought. The key here, as with many other services on the Internet, is in selling advertising.

After starting up a personal blog, many writers sign up for ad services like Google AdSense, which post those familiar sponsored links you often see at the top and on the sides of Web sites. The more times your blog readers click on those ads, the more money you’ll make through the ad service. This works fine if you’re a casual blogger, and you may make some extra spending money. But if the blog is consistently interesting, well-written and really takes off, you may be approached by companies who want to reach your fan base with graphical advertising around your blog. Some of the more successful blogs, like I Can Has Cheezburger? and Boing Boing, have become pop-culture phenomena, and their creators have been able to quit their day jobs and blog full time because of the money they make from advertisers.

5: Selling Stuff on eBay

After starting up a personal blog, many writers sign up for ad services like Google AdSense, which post those familiar sponsored links you often see at the top and on the sides of Web sites.
5: Selling Stuff on eBay

Finding stuff you don’t need but others are willing to pay more for is a popular way to make money over the Web.

It’s a fairly straightforward concept that most people are familiar with by now — if you have a bunch of stuff that you don’t necessarily need but others want and are willing to pay extremely inflated prices for, you can auction off the items on eBay or other online auction sites. Simply gather your goods, create a seller’s profile and start selling.

It sounds simple, but takes some practice to sell successfully. Creating persuasive and legitimate product pages for the goods you’re selling will help get buyers interested. It’s also important to set reasonable minimum bids to ensure that people will buy. And remember to deliver the kind of customer service that will garner positive feedback ratings and to communicate with buyers to let them know you’re reliable. The more positive feedback you receive, the more people will be willing to do business with you. And that, of course, means more money.

There are some that say yes, there are some that say no. Google says no, some promotion companies say yes? What say you?

The fact of the matter is, if you are lucky enough to have a website on the 1st page of Google then my hats off to you, remarkable work – well done, I am sure you are getting lots of visitors and a fair amount of sales too! So all good news.

But, hold on, step back for a minute; It is all going so well, the money is coming in, Google loves you and so does your credit card processor and then whap, whammy you are gone, out from the 1st page and onto the 10th. Nobody seems to love you anymore, your website has gone into oblivion and that Lego Indiana Jones set you promised your nephew is also out the window because the sales have dried up.

Ahhh, hold on, all of the above was just a dream because although you have lost your number 1 Google ranking, it was just a small part of a much larger jigsaw of promotion and marketing streams you had already built up and although you have taken a small dent lets look at one of the biggest, boldest new ways you can get new visitors and possibly even a remarkable number 1 ranking in Google Video search which through YouTube pops up on the 1st page of Google as well. As they say, anything is possible!

Utilizing video SEO and movie optimization is in fact one of the newest forms of search engine optimization and has become one of the most critical factors in online marketing success. But not many entrepreneurs that publish a website understand this! The problem they must contend with, however, is a desire to remain a little behind the times as far as the development of new and effective SEO strategies go. For example, many have not yet embraced the benefit of video SEO. This is unfortunate because video SEO and movie optimization are quickly becoming the preferred means in which an internet marketer can draw in huge amounts of traffic. And you would not want to be an old stick in the mud would you?

What is it about movie optimization that makes it so popular to those ‘in the know’? The answer is rather simple. People enjoy watching interesting and intriguing video clips online. This opens the door for video SEO to become wildly popular. With more people looking to view video clips online, more and more entrepreneurs will look towards movie optimization as the means in which to boost their traffic and search engine rankings. Yes, there are those that may resist a little. They fall into the comfort zone of doing what they have always done to promote their online ventures. While this is certainly such a person’s choice, it may prove to be a very limiting one. It is certainly much better to look towards a modern and viable method of search engine optimization as opposed to sticking with a traditional one.

The bottom line factor here is that video SEO and movie optimization are the wave of the future. Those looking to take advantage of what such methods offer are well advised to explore the opportunities available.

So to sum up this little story, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Don’t rely on good old Google propping you up forever, and look at everything and anything that can give you a helping hand.

The most effective incentive on the planet? It’s not a pile of cash, praise or gold stars. There’s a far more powerful motivation, says Daniel H. Pink, the guy who turned Oprah on to the power of right-brain thinking, and he’s not talking about denial or punishment, either. Scientists are discovering a far more powerful third drive. To tap into it, you need to develop three things: a sense of mastery, autonomy and purpose. Here’s how…

1.	Discover Your Reservoir of Grit

The thirst for mastery is akin to the thirst for water. It keeps the soul alive. So what is the best way to cultivate a sense to accomplishment? An interesting answer recently came from a group of researchers studying new cadets at West Point to understand why some students dropped out. All the recruits were talented, but the successful students shared a certain quality: grit. Everyone has a reservoir of grit, though you can’t tap it for a random endeavor. (There’s a reason Dara Torres didn’t become an accountant. As a kid, she was willing to swim 2000 yards at 5 a.m.—not balance her mom’s checkbook.) To figure out where your reservoir of grit is, ask yourself: “What would I do for free?” Or: “What I’d really like to be doing now is ________.” The answers point you toward areas where you’ll naturally persevere—and improve.

2. Figure Out Where You Can Be Your Own Boss

We come into this world curious and self-directed—just look at any toddler—but we can become passive and inert in mundane situations, like when we’re stuck on the low end of the office totem pole or in the cook/housecleaner/chauffeur role at home. Two business school professors, however, found that people in the least-empowered positions can develop a sense of autonomy. They studied the performance of hospital cleaners, and found that those who went beyond doing the minimum job requirements—chatting with patients or helping make nurses’ tasks go more smoothly—reported an increase in job satisfaction. By reframing their duties, the janitors helped make their work more fully their own. This isn’t just about taking on more responsibilities. It’s about exploring what you can do differently to make your role, whatever it is, more interesting. If you reframe “I have to go the grocery store” to “I’m a player in the worldwide supply chain for food”—okay, no one but a nerd like me will do that—but you could choose to see how your choice of eggs can affect a larger system. Or you can make a game of it and see how fast you can get in and out of there. Either way, you’re not at the mercy of a to-do list; you’ve taken control (if only in a small way) of your time, efforts and responsibilities.

3. Find Your Sentence

Seeking purpose is part of how we’re wired—by doing something that endures, we prove that we were here, that we mattered. Clare Boothe Luce once told John F. Kennedy, “A great man is one sentence. Abraham Lincoln’s was ‘He preserved the Union and freed the slaves.’ What’s yours?” If you can’t seem to access your purpose in life, I’ve found the best place to start is with Luce’s question.

I shared with you one of the most exciting benefits of having your own business: Freedom!

Having the time and money to do what you want when you want…to pursue your passions and enjoy your life.

So, how exactly is that possible ? Chances are you’re really good at working hard and putting in long hours.

So…to make more money, you’d have to put in more time.

That is NOT an exciting answer.

I definitely wasn’t looking to work harder…I wanted to work less and make more.

That almost seemed like a riddle to me. How do you work
less and make more?

And…like most riddles, the answer was right in front of my face.

It’s simple…YOU work LESS, MORE PEOPLE WORK and YOU make more.

It’s called LEVERAGE!

I had spent years providing leverage to other people…my employers were benefitting year in and year out from the work I was doing.

I was working hard and at the end of the week, I took home about 10% of what I was really worth.
My boss was taking home 90%.

The difference between the wealthy and the middle class is leverage! The wealthy have an “EMPLOYER” mentality rather than an employee mentality!

The very wise and wealthy J.Paul Getty said it best, “I’d rather get paid 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own!”

With leverage, you can turn one hour of work into 100!

How?

Well think about it! If you have 100 people working for you and they each work 1 hour, that’s 100 man (or woman!) hours, right? Right! Well, would you rather work those 100 hours yourself or have 100 people do it for you?

That’s what having your own business can do for! By employing the efforts of others as you build your business, you’ll be able to experience true freedom through TIME LEVERAGE!

With so many options available to you, what’s best?
Franchises?
MLM?
Network Marketing?
Traditional start-up businesses?

SECRET: CHOOSE A COMPANY THAT USES A HYBRID- BUSINESS MODEL, NOT A MLM MODEL.

In short, a HYBRID business model captures the best of all three business models.

It uses the compensation power of network marketing, allows enough entrepreneurial independence to be a true “traditional” business…

And at the same time captures the great success enhancing power of the “franchise” model, by providing a proven pattern for success.

The “franchise” business model is dramatically more successful thanboth the traditional business model and the networking model.

However, virtually no one can afford to purchase a major franchise.

And, most people don’t want to deal with employees. I wanted to make the money from leverage of people, but I certainly didn’t want to be responsible for being their boss!

And…if you look at most traditional network marketing companies, their profit margin is so small you need tens of thousands of people to make anything close to a six-figure income.

I didn’t want to wait years to make money, I wanted up-front profit potential, leverage and time freedom.

And, I finally found it. A hybrid, direct sales business with a compensation plan that employees serious leverage and up-front profit potential. A compensation model that enabled me to finally earn what I knew I was worth all along…

And the time freedom to fully enjoy it. go freedom

The next time you have to wake up early in the morning at 6.30am, or jump out of bed to the squeal of the alarm clock, put on the suit you don’t feel like wearing, grab some breakfast you don’t have time to eat, force yourself out the door by 7.00 a.m. nervous that the car won’t start, or that you’ll be stuck in traffic, heading to a place you don’t want to go, to be with people you don’t really like, to a job you don’t enjoy, for the money that is never enough, or perhaps just feeling plain lousy, then think of us average people working from home, choosing when to work and when to play, earning more money than we’ve ever dreamed possible. Spend quality time with your family and control your financial destiny, all from the comfort of our own home-based business Start New Life

No longer do you have to be chained to a desk, clock into an office, tied to a phone or imprisoned with a boss as the warden for a lifetime. Being told when to come to work, when to leave, when to go for holidays and when to go for lunch. Being directed on what to do, how to do, when to do, report back what you have been doing, receiving an income that’s just ‘ngam ngam’ to get by and having to put up with all that every day, every month, and every year till you retire.

Apart from paying all the bills first and themselves last, they are not in control of their time because someone else does that for them. If you are on salary and are dependent on that to increase your income, you’ll need promotions and more promotions. Otherwise, you need to go get a higher salaried job or perhaps send your spouse to work.

If, however, you’re an established executive or in middle management, complete with S$50,000 or more a year salary and perks, yet you feel that you’re stuck. You may find yourself in that situation of working more hours for less money, wondering day-to-day if you’ll be “downsized” and yet can’t afford to quit.

Or perhaps you are like most people who had to give up some of their dreams, desires and aspirations along the road in life, then do take a few minutes to seriously think through. Are you tired of asking “How much will your children’s education going to cost?” or choosing your anniversary dinner based solely on the prices listed on the menu, tapau a sandwich to office for lunch instead of going out with your coworkers, tired of driving a car that’s 10 years old, or haven’t been able to spend a good overseas vacation with your family for the last 10 years.

Wouldn’t you love to have total control of your precious time to spend the way you want with your loved ones and families or to do the things you want EVERYDAY and not just on Sundays and holidays? Set your own hours, your own dress code, and most of all, your own workspace. This is an enviable opportunity that can be yours. It is plain obvious isn’t it?

We were all raised to give 9 hours work for 8 hours pay, and we are not backing away from that. Today’s problem is that majority of companies have no loyalty to their employees; their only loyalty is to “the bottom line”. And the bottom is exactly where most of us are when it is time to cut back.

You have totally no control over your future. These decisions are made behind closed doors. By people who place little thought on the quality of your work or the extra time you gave the company without requesting overtime. They are not interested about your family’s life: they don’t understand that you just put braces on your child’s teeth and now have to pay for them. This “decision maker’s” job is to be impersonal and unbiased in all areas except for the company’s “best interests.” In other words: To them, you really don’t matter.

Be careful, you have two choices right now: one is that you can choose to read no further and if you choose to do this, you must be happy with your financial future, with your lifestyle, and with the amount of time you spend with your family, with the future you can offer your children. Or maybe you’ve already seen the world, done everything you dreamed of – maybe you have no need to further improve yourself. Maybe you are one of the very few who are all that they can be and who have achieved all they ever wanted. Otherwise……

Take a good look at your situation right now.

Ask yourself these questions.

Am I earning what I am worth?

Am I truly happy with my job or profession?

Am I locked into a dead-end, boring job?

Am I spending enough time with my family?

Does my spouse ever complain about never having enough money?

Do I want to do the job I currently have for the next 25 years?

Do I see myself getting better if I continue on the path I am on?

Is my present job the type of job I would recommend to my children?

Is this where I dreamed that I would be at this point in my life?

Remember this, we all have a ‘wearing-off’ process like machines, and each day brings us closer to the end of our economic usefulness. Many are conditioned to accept what and where they are. They hate to discuss about it in details because they either refused to face reality, no knowledge of any better way out, never realized that they can change or are allergic to change.

Are You Ready for Change?

This may come as a total shock to you, but most people really do not want to change. Just switch on the air conditioner, give them a beer, point them towards the sofa, and let them hold onto the VCD remote control – they will continue to complacently live out their lives. They are happy to live their lives in their self-created rut. We’re sure that you know what a rut is: ‘a dug up grave’.

What we are offering is a chance to climb out of that rut. Take serious control of your life, your destiny and design your future now. Don’t let someone else tell you how it should happen or should not happen or even why it would never happen for you. For things to change, you have to change.

Decide What You Are Worth

Decide now where you want to be and where you want to go. Decide for yourself and for your family. Don’t let some well-meaning friend or relative make the decision of where you can be in five years or even next year. Only you can decide just where you want to be and to go from here.

If you have read this far, I am sure you have a decision to make. Will you decide to strike out and make some major, healthy changes in your life? There is no need to quit from what you are presently doing. You don’t want to, until you have at least doubled your present income. Also, you don’t have to worry about the investment – you don’t need to dig up thousands of dollars to get started. Right now, the only thing you need is your will, a solid vehicle and the information we are making available, so that you can make an informed decision and join us to get started…..Your future is waiting

Not all sales interactions run smoothly; even the best salespeople inevitably hit a bump in the road. Maybe you’ve hit that bump because you unwittingly mishandled a situation, or because your customer had conflicted feelings about a sale. Either way, if you want to salvage your hard work and make sure the sale goes through, you must learn to deal with these obstacles to meet your customer’s needs. www.juicegochi.com

Here are the six most common mistakes salespeople make and how to overcome them:

1. Fearing the customer’s reaction

When salespeople are afraid of what a customer might say, they end up losing sales opportunities because they don’t find out what the customer really wants. For example, you dread hearing a customer say, “Your price is too high.” It’s almost a knee-jerk reaction to offer a lower price. Instead, be proactive and try to uncover the unique buying criteria important to the customer so the price objection doesn’t come up in the first place.

2. Taking it personally

Sure, in your head you know that a customer’s bad attitude doesn’t reflect on your worth as a human being. But your ego gets in the way, and you internalize the customer’s negativity. When your customer brings up a problem, don’t get defensive and explain the problem away. Not only will the customer probably not be overjoyed with your response, but you will have failed to address the heart of the matter: how to fix your customer’s problem.

3. Rushing to judgment

As a salesperson, you should work to focus all of your attention on your customer and his needs. It’s all too easy to swoop in to present a solution instead of listening to your customer’s complaints and the specifics of his situation. In this rush to cut to the chase, you’re in danger of coming across as arrogant, and your customer ends up feeling his input is unimportant and unappreciated. Put down your briefcase, close your office door, and listen to him for as long as he needs. Even if you hear the story all the time, it is unique and personal for each customer. Instead of interrupting your customer with your standard solution, let him have the floor and explain his problem. Only then can you proceed with the process of finding a solution for whatever ails him.

4. Beating a dead horse

How do you know when, despite your best efforts, your customer relationship is beyond saving and therefore taking up more time than it’s worth? When that customer is demanding, even confrontational, yet provides you with little to no business for all the irritation he’s giving you. Sometimes a customer like this actually costs you money, because you spend so much time trying to please him. www.juicegochi.com

5. Shifting blame

For the past twenty years, organizations have embraced the concept of teamwork. When customers come to you with problems, do you know someone on your team who tries to shift blame to another person or department in your company? Pointing fingers only delays resolving customers’ issues. When things go well in your firm, everyone should definitely share the glory — and when things go wrong, everyone should share the blame, too.

6. Treating customer complaints with the same approach.

Some salespeople have a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to dealing with customer objections. They may offer to lower their price or automatically throw in product extras, without listening to the reasons the customer is upset. While you’re being conditioned to respond to objections with concessions, your customers are learning that whenever they complain, they’re rewarded, much like giving whiny children toys or treats to quiet them. For example, a customer might ask you to cut your price by 5% to clinch a deal. When you agree to this deal, you’re setting up him expectations for the next time you negotiate. He’ll think all he has to do is raise an objection and you’ll always give in.

Having only one approach to resolving customer issues results in two mistakes:

· You’re not addressing your customer’s real problem.

· You end up offering more than what your customer really wants.

It’s better for both you and your customer if, instead of giving price cuts to close the deal, that you really listen to what your customer tells you. Then go from there. Slowing down and listening when you reach business relationship speed bumps works better in the long run than always trying to swerve around them.

What would it take to become a self-made millionaire? Does the mere thought of it feel like wishful thinking? Or maybe just a bit intimidating?

Of course, any project, especially one as challenging as turning yourself into a self-made millionaire, will go better if you have someone to guide you through the process, someone who has personally achieved what you’re striving towards.

Imagine you could have your own personal self-made millionaire mentor who will share exactly how he did it and who will guide you through the process? Do you think this would help – a lot?

I’m sure you do. But your old, non-millionaire mindset will immediately ask the kinds of questions that are certain to sabotage your success: But aren’t mentors incredibly expensive? It depends on how the mentorship works. Sure, hours of phone support and personal meetings will probably be out of reach for just about anybody who would need that kind of help.

But here’s a way that’s much more affordable. Adam Khoo, a self-made millionaire by age 26, and now a multi-millionaire and best-selling author as well as in-demand speaker, has produced an audio coaching program where he discloses all the secret ingredients of becoming seriously rich. And the best thing, he guides you every step of the way. He’s by your side with encouragement and guidance, with motivation, and with very specific and detailed examples. Once you listen to his explanations and work through the workbooks, getting wealthy will suddenly feel a lot more doable.

How does Adam accomplish this feat? First of all, he shares how he himself became a millionaire, starting with his school days, where he transformed himself from a miserable failure to a top student in a very short time. And where he went out to teach others how to do the same. And turned that into money! Adam’s inspiring story and his enthusiasm will give you a big boost. Self-Made Millionaires

Before you begin, you probably wonder if you even had it in you to become a millionaire. Surely, those amazing people who have accomplished that feat have really special gifts, you may think.

You’ll quickly discover that that’s not the case. Adam assures you that we all have the same gifts. It’s just that some of us use them more skillfully than others. And in his audio coaching program, he is going to teach you how you too can transform yourself into a person who puts his or her gifts to the best possible use.

Chances are you have read other books about “millionaire secrets” before and have found yourself utterly frustrated because they were filled with promises that weren’t fulfilled. It all sounded good, but every time you were looking for actual how-to information, the books came up empty. This is not the case with Adam’s program. He delivers specifics.

Sure, Adam includes plenty of pep talks along with a bit of tough love, and you’ll need it all. Why? Because there’s real work involved in becoming a millionaire. Meditating on it won’t make it happen. Yet the right mindset paired with the right kind of concerted effort will. And Adam’s program gives you the tools to get it right and shows you how to apply them.

What will you get? The program consists of 12 downloadable audio lessons that average about 45 to 55 minutes each, with some of them more than an hour long. And Adam talks fast, and packs a lot of information into each one. You’ll see just how much when you look at the transcripts that are also included as PDF documents.

The lessons include the following:

7 Steps to Financial Freedom

Developing the Million Dollar Mindset

How the Rich Manage Cash Flow

Strategies to Massively Increase your Income (TWO lessons on that one!)

Managing Money and Controlling Expenses

Creating Multiple Streams of Income Online (TWO lessons on that one too!)

Investing Like Warren Buffett (TWO lessons here too!)

Growing Your Money at Millionaire Returns (TWO lessons!)

Designing Your Millionaire Road Map

The topics sound very enticing, and unlike a lot of other programs, Adam delivers. He really does give you the nitty-gritty how-to for all of the above.

For example, the two lessons on online income are among the clearest, fuss-free, and comprehensive guides to internet marketing I have encountered to date.

And the strategies to massively increase your income are just plain brilliant as are those in the rest of the program. Adam tells you how you can increase your value to your employer exponentially – and command the salary increases to match. And that’s just for starters. Wish I had known those earlier. In fact, that’s what I kept thinking while listening to most of this program. Self-Made Millionaires

In his investing lessons, all four of them, Adam provides more information than even an armful of books ever would. He teaches you how to pick stocks, how long to keep them, and so on. It’s very comprehensive, and you can literally get started after just working your way through this program.

And while 12 audios and the matching transcripts would provide plenty of value for your money, especially considering the content, that’s not all. You’ll also get bonuses:

You’ll get a manual of more than 200 pages, which is both a workbook with space for you to fill in as you work yourself through the process, and a quickie overview over the program, complete with graphics and tables that you’ll find yourself referring to again and again.

And then there are 7 spread sheets, which help you with determining your own net worth, your income statement, making money on the internet with the internet profit formula, and, yes, pick the right stocks! Or tell if you’ve picked the right ones. And when to sell them too.

In the program itself, Adam covers a huge territory as you can see from the titles of the lessons above. He helps you explore your attitudes about money, and, very importantly, change the ones that don’t serve you. If you worry what would happen if you were to actually make money, you probably won’t make much. And if you do, self-fulfilling prophecy goes right to work and helps you live up – or down – to your expectations.

Adam is a very enthusiastic speaker and a fast talker, which means, that you may sometimes wish you could rewind. In fact, the pace of his presentation style is a bit on the fast side. I kept wanting to tell him to slow down. He also has a Singapore accent for obvious reasons and coupled with the fast pace it can occasionally . Self-Made Millionaires

But what really counts is what he delivers, and he delivers a terrific blueprint for becoming a self-made millionaire. All the info you need is right here. Just add action, stir, and watch your net worth grow.

Why do some MLM distributors consistently make terrible choices, lose money, watch their MLM companies crumble, and lead a life of frustration with no results for their efforts?

Why do some MLM distributors make the right choices and build successful MLM businesses?

It’ s simple. Consider this situation.

You are standing in a room with three doors. Behind each door is an opportunity, a path that will lead you to either success or failure. You don’ t know what kind of opportunity or successes behind each door, so you have three options.

1. You can stay standing. Don’t make a choice or a commitment. Just don’t do anything. Stay where you are in life.

A lot of people make this choice. It’s easier to watch TV, complain about your job, and hope that the government will raise wages, lower prices, and eliminate taxes. Yeah, that’ s a great business plan for success. Just cross your fingers and hope that something good will happen. After all, why take chances? Your neighbors and co-workers will only criticize your efforts to be different. They want you to stay behind with them. Misery really does love company.

2. Blindly pick a door. Maybe you feel lucky, hope that hype will work in your favor, or feel good about the vibes from picking your lucky number.

Does trial and error work? Yes. But it works very, very slowly. If it takes a lifetime of mistakes to find the right path to MLM success, you won’ t have much time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Should you re-invent the wheel? Should you repeat someone else’ s mistakes? “Practice makes perfect” really isn’t true. Practice only perfects your ability to make the same mistake over and over again.

3. Ask someone what is behind those doors.

That’s the power a mentor can add to your “desire for success.” Doesn’t it make sense to simply ask someone what is behind the three doors? Why take chances with your life? Why leave your MLM success subject to guessing, finger crossing, and a lottery mentality. http://www.juicegochi.com

Finding a mentor can take years off your path to MLM success. A mentor can help you avoid disasters and make sure your work accumulates to your personal success. There is nothing more frustrating than lots of your effort wasted. Too many people work hard in MLM only to find that they have to start over again and again. Ouch!!!

Your mentor can share with you the experiences of others. While other people have paid the price of trial and error, your mentor can give these results for free. That sure beats getting a flat forehead from beating your head against a brick wall from frustration.

Your mentor can ask about your goals, time commitment, experience, and preferences. He will ask about your present and desired lifestyle, if you like to retail, or how comfortable you are with different styles of sponsoring and business building.

Your mentor can guide you through the minefields of “hype.” He can tell you if one person made a big check at the expense of 100 people receiving no check. He will show you the pitfalls of short-term strategies. And, you will find out what really works — and what doesn’t.

The successful big earners in MLM built their businesses from using two successful strategies:

Strategy #1 for MLM success: If you want to learn how to be successful in MLM, learn from someone who is already successful. Become a Siamese twin to a successful MLM leader who you can relate to. Make her or him your best friend and companion.

Sounds simple, but new distributors almost always violate this strategy. If you want to earn $100,000 a year, would you ask a neighbor who earns $40,000 a year how to do it? Would you value his opinion and advice in this matter? Would you take your $100,000 opportunity to him for his review and decision?

No. Of course not.

If your neighbor knew how to earn $100,000 a year, he certainly wouldn’t be earning only $40,000 a year. You wouldn’t take your plumbing problems to your lawyer. You wouldn’t expect your dentist to have the teaching skills to educate your children. And you certainly wouldn’t go to your government for business advice — they only know how to produce deficits!

So, whom does the new distributor ask for advice on his new MLM opportunity? His neighbor who says the secret to success is to watch plenty of TV and to choose lucky numbers in the lottery? A friend who tried to build an MLM business but failed? Or, should the new distributor ask his attorney because he received a degree for memorizing law books and legal codes?

Your strategy for MLM success is to get advice and guidance from someone who knows how to be successful in MLM. So, find your mentor first, and then follow your mentor’ s advice. Don’t take bad advice from unqualified friends and enemies.

Strategy #2 for MLM success: Learn from someone who has a system for success that you can follow.

There are many great athletes who are naturals. With very little training and instruction they reach high levels of success. While they may be excellent performers, they may not have the ability to transfer their knowledge to you. When you ask one of these gifted, natural athletes how they do it, they’ ll say, “Gosh, I just go out and do it.”

That’ s not the kind of instruction you want. You want specific instructions, a step-by-step approach, a proven path to your MLM success. Make sure your mentor has a “guaranteed” success plan that works. .How do you know your mentor’s plan works? Simply ask for the names of people who have used the plan and observe their progress. If his personally-sponsored distributors are successful, that’ s the place you want to be. http://www.kayaraya.freelife.com

It would be nice if you could learn MLM success from high school, a university, or from watching a Saturday morning TV. But you can’ t. If you really want MLM success, use these two-mentor strategies to turbo charge your MLM career.

A chance conversation in New York City shows why other advertising media may be better for you – because each form of advertising slices the world in a different, unique way

On a beautiful day in May I was in New York City for Gary Bencivenga’s now-legendary copywriting seminar, and taking the day off on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Just off Broadway and a few blocks from Central Park, I was drinking coffee in a donut shop when two guys struck up a conversation with me.

Turns out one of them was a senior sales executive for the Thomas Register. In case you’re not familiar, the Thomas Register is a very old company that, pre-Internet, used to make a gigantic set of green books that you would see in a company library, purchasing or engineering office. These books, which probably weighed 100+ pounds, were the national ‘Yellow pages’ for every kind of manufacturing you can possibly think of.

And pre-Internet, if you wanted to buy machine tools, adhesives, pump controllers, conveyor belts or literally hundreds of thousands of other items, the Thomas Register was probably the easiest way to find all of those things.

But now you just do a Google search. Right?

And that’s what this guy hears when he’s selling space at ThomasNet.com (they don’t even print those big books anymore) – his prospect says ‘Hey, I don’t need to advertise on your site, I’ll just advertise on Google.’

Well nobody’s in a better position than me to say that sometimes Google AdWords is NOT the best way for his prospect to reach a new customer! Sometimes it’s a lousy way to reach your target customer. Let me give you some examples:

Last year I had a client who manufactures AC Adapters – you know, those big black plugs that provide power for your CD player or charge your cel phone. We tried mightily to make Google AdWords work, and couldn’t. Why? Because this company sells custom lots of 500 units or more to manufacturers, but all the traffic for “AC Adapters” and related keywords is everyday consumers looking to buy one unit at a time. Our Google campaign was a total failure, despite our best efforts to dis-qualify the customer. The ads would say “minimum lots of 500,” but Joe Consumer would click on the ad anyway, then leave. A manufacturing directory is a much better way to reach other manufacturers than Google in that situation.

Let’s say you sell some kind of high-end equipment, software or consulting to high level exectutives – and lower-level people are a waste of time for you. (Very common scenario!) Is bidding on keywords a good way to target those executives? No, not really. Maybe only 1% of the people searching are executives, the rest just waste your clicks. Direct mail would be much, much better for that. A FEDEX envelope on the executive’s desk is a rifle shot.

Keyword based advertising only works when people know they have a problem and can describe it to themselves and believe that somebody on the Internet has a solution. But many people have severe problems they don’t even realize they have. If that’s the case, search engine marketing isn’t a very good way to reach them. You need to interrupt them instead. So again, direct mail, ads in magazines they read, TV, radio – all of those media might be better. Search engine marketing only gets you people who are proactively looking to solve their problem right now.

Sometimes search traffic gets you, ironically, the lowest quality, least-interested and least qualified prospects. People who regularly visit specific web sites are much more interested and much more qualified. Here’s an example: Let’s say you are doing fundraising for environmental activism. You could bid on the keyword “environment,” but what you’d probably get is high school kids doing homework assignments and writing papers about the environment. Now it may be nice to reach those kids with your message, but you ain’t gonna get any money out of them. And if you think about it, people who are already active and interested in that probably are not typing “environment” into a search engine. They already have sites they like to go to. You get much better traffic, and more donations, advertising on those sites. (That’s why, in some categories, AdSense gets you better traffic than Google searches.)

Every kind of advertising media slices the world in a different way. Bidding on keywords slices the world according to who’s got an itch to scratch, right now. Direct mail slices the world according to what magazines people subscribe to, what mail order products they’ve purchased, what charities they’ve donated money to. Compiled mailing lists slice the world according to where they live, what income level they’re in, what positions they hold in their jobs, what kind of home they live in.

“Rock – Paper – Scissors”

Print advertising slices the world according to topics people are interested in – if you advertise in Bass Fisherman magazine, you get guys who are rabidly interested in bass fishing. If you advertise on the radio at 7:30 in the morning, you get people who are on their way to work. The pros and cons of every form of advertising are sort of like that game “Rock – Paper – Scisssors” where each has its unique advantages and disadvantages.

So I told the Thomas Register exec that he just needs to come out and say that yes, sometimes Google is hands down the easiest, cheapest way to get new customers. (His prospect will be rather surprised to hear him say that! Coming clean will boost his credibility.) But he can point out that also sometimes, as with those AC Adapters, Google may also be one of the worst ways to get a new customer. http://perrymarshall.com/cmd.php?pg=pm328

For most people, the truth is somewhere in the middle. For most people, Google is a great way to get a certain amount of high quality leads, but there are only so many available. It’s like an oil well that pumps out just so much every day, and no more. Plus you never want to have all your eggs in one basket, that makes you very vulnerable. So you need to explore other avenues.

In conversations I’ve had, people have been using any or all of the following ways to acquire new customers:

Buying space ads in e-zines

Endorsed email blasts from affiliates

Pop-under and popup ads on other sites

Postcard mailings

Direct Mail

Magalogs – catalogs that look like magazines

Spots in other peoples’ catalogs

FEDEX envelopes to highly-targeted prospects from carefully selected mailing lists

Banner ads

Radio

TV

Telemarketing

Issuing a Press Release

Writing a Book

Being an “Expert” on a Talk Show

Exhibiting at Trade Shows

Flyers distributed house-to-house or business-to-business

Doing a custom teleseminar for another person’s email list

Ads in magazines

Remnant space in local newspapers, purchased at a deep discount rates

Speaking at seminars

Card Decks – i.e. packet of postcards that comes in the mail

Writing magazine articles and e-zine articles

“Buyer advocate” sites like Thomas Register and Globalspec

Flyer inserts in newspapers, magazines or mail-order shipments (that’s called “Insert media”)

“Lumpy Mail” – sending people interesting objects, like one guy I know who mailed out a six foot canoe paddle

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. So save this list for the next time you have one of those days when it seems impossible to find a new customer!

Remember that every other advertiser out there has access to some customers, and many of them know they can make a little more money (and not lose any business) by giving you controlled access to their customers. And many times even though those other media may have a higher customer acquisition cost, the customers may be higher quality.

Health and wellness are two of the most popular themed MLM businesses these days. The latest trend is for people to be very interested and concerned with their health and well-being. While the huge population of baby boomers move towards their golden years there is an incredible surge in the demand for products to keep people young and healthy. The health and wellness themes lend themselves well to this type of marketing.

Health products that deal with a myriad of health problems are going to be in high demand. The same holds true for wellness products, products that help to keep the body free from disease. There are many products currently available with more coming onto the market every day. When evaluating a health product keep in mind the demand as well as the benefits. Research the amount of people that may potentially benefit from the product. If the product is too much of a niche item marketing will be harder and more expensive. If the product has more universal appeal it will be easier to market and sell. http://www.juicegochi.com

Look for breakthrough products that are new to the market. Do make sure that the products have been tested and that they do have proper approvals. If the product is unique make sure that it has a patent. Think about who will use the item and how much they will need. Remember that your business will thrive on repeat business so your product will need to be one that people will need more of.

The benefits of the products must show actual results so that the customers will continue to purchase it. Try the product yourself first, to evaluate it’s claims. You want to sell a product you are comfortable with and believe in. Because many products are sold through word of mouth, be sure the product is one you are proud of and will be able to easily endorse. Be wary of wild or broad claims as to what the product can do. Check the reliability of the product via customer testimonials and comments.

Health and wellness products that utilize natural substances seem to be in peak demand now. There is a big push towards going green and using natural products is a big part of that push. You will see natural ingredients in all types of products ranging from health care to cosmetics. Check the company’s claims before you buy in to be sure they are using the ingredients they say they are.
